Cognitive Frameworks of Modernization and Their Reflection on Work Values in Libyan Institutions A Comparative Sociological Study of the Production and Service Sectors

Human societies have, throughout history, developed various patterns of behavior, attitudes, and values. They initially lived traditional lives based on primary relationships and manual occupations. Over time, some of these societies progressed and evolved through stages of change and modernization, which shaped new patterns of individual behavior and values, and led them to engage in new experiences imposed by modern social realities in order to keep pace with transformation and development. Technological and cultural revolutions have played a significant role in the advancement and development of these societies.
In recent years, Libyan society has witnessed rapid transformations in its social structure, along with the growing adoption of modernization tools within institutions, as a result of increasing reliance on the key drivers of modernization.
This study aims to identify the nature of the correlational relationship between the cognitive frameworks of social modernization and work values within Libyan institutions.
To achieve this objective and answer the research questions, the researcher adopted several methodological procedures, which led to the following key findings:
- There are differences between production and service institutions in terms of work values.
- There are statistically significant differences between technology and work values.
- There are statistically significant differences between communication means and work values.
- There are statistically significant differences between education and work values.
