Investigation of the Translation Techniques Used by EFL students in Translating Scientific Texts from English into Arabic

يدرس هذا البحث كفاءة طلاب قسم اللغة الإنجليزية في الجامعة في ترجمة النصوص العلمية بما يتناسب مع سياقها. والهدف الرئيس من هذه الدراسة هو تحديد طرق الترجمة التي يستخدمها الطلاب عند ترجمة النصوص العلمية من الإنجليزية إلى العربية. لتحقيق هذا الهدف طلب من 20 طالبا من قسم اللغة الإنجليزية بكلية الآداب في جامعة الزاوية ترجمة نصوص علمية باستخدام طرق الترجمة المناسبة. تم تحليل ترجماتهم في ضوء طرق الترجمة التي حددها باحثون مثل نيومارك وبيرن ومولينا وهورتادو ألبير و مونداي. أظهرت النتائج أن الطلاب يفتقرون إلى معرفة المهارات الأساسية اللازمة لترجمة النصوص العلمية بفعالية، خاصة فيما يتعلق باستخدام طرق الترجمة مثل القلب والتغيير النحوي وإعادة الصياغة والاضافة.
