This study aimed to assess nursing students’ proficiency in using English Terminology during their studies at the College of Nursing in Zawia from English language teachers' perspectives. This involved identifying the level of relevant skills in a number of dimensions including general understanding of English terminology, using English terminology in oral skills and in academic writing, learning and acquiring English terminology, self-assessment, and the challenges encountered. The research adopted a descriptive analytical analysis for its appropriateness to the nature and aims of the study. To address the research questions, the researchers used a questionnaire to collect data. The sample of the study consisted of 30 teachers in Nursing College at Zawia. The findings of the study revealed that the level of nursing students' skills in using English terminology was moderate across all dimensions. Moreover, it was found that students encounter difficulties in using nursing English terminology both in speaking and in academic writing. The study also showed that the students relied on lectures in acquiring terms compared to self-learning tools. The findings also revealed that there was statistically significant difference with females outperforming males in the dimension of using English terms in academic writing, while there was no statistically significant difference in the other dimensions or in the scale as a whole. In light of these findings, the researchers recommend that it is necessary to enhance using English technical terms in nursing curriculum courses through training programs to support communication skills and academic writing. Encouraging self-learning strategies which contribute to increasing nursing students’ proficieny linguistically and professionally is also recommended/
