Behavioral Problems of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder

The study aims to analyze behavioral problems in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), with a focus on interpreting these behaviors through theoretical literature and real-life experiences. ASD is considered a complex neurodevelopmental disorder that directly affects communication skills and social interaction. Its symptoms appear in the form of repetitive and stereotyped behaviors, in addition to various emotional and behavioral problems that vary in severity from one child to another.
The study also aims to identify the nature of these behavioral problems and their main causes, whether related to neurological disorders or difficulties in communication and social interaction. The researcher adopted the descriptive-analytical method by reviewing previous literature and analyzing some real-life experiences. The results showed that behavioral problems in children with ASD are diverse and vary in intensity, and that early intervention and behavioral rehabilitation programs are highly effective in improving the child’s behavior and enhancing their ability to adapt. The study also emphasized the pivotal role of the family and educational and rehabilitation institutions in supporting the child and facilitating their integration into society.
