The current research investigates the relationship between imports and economic growth in Libya economy over 1970 to 2025, co-integration approach was adopted in this research by using Engel-Granger method and error correction method to identify the co-integration relationship between imports and economic growth in the long and short term. The results from the study indicated there is a positive relationship between imports and economic growth in the long and short term
