The Use of Artificial Intelligence Tools in Scientific Research: A Case Study of Faculty Members at the College of Arts and Sciences Qaminis

Abstract

The concept of  artificial Intelligence (AI)  , Along  with its comprehension and utilization in scientific research, has become  increasingly essential for researchers, AI contributes significantly to the extraction of valuable insights, the analysis of large - scale datasets,  and the acceleration of data processing .Broadly speaking , the field of AI focuses on the cognitive processes employed by humans To perform tasks typically regarded as intelligent. This study aims to identify the AI tools employed in scientific research and to examine the challenges encountered by faculty members in higher education institution. Furthermore, it investigates the extent to which these tools are utilized and the benefits derived from their application in the research domain. A  descriptive research methodology was adopted, and data were collected using an questionnaire.
